Robert received his Mechanical Engineering degree from The University of Michigan, and has attended several professional courses in HVAC and Plumbing. Robert is a member of A.S.H.R.A.E. and The Engineering Society of Detroit. Mr. Oaks is a licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Michigan and Tennessee.

Before the inception of Climatek Engineering Inc., Robert was the Chief Mechanical Engineer for a large design/build contractor. Robert gained a wealth of technical and practical knowledge about a variety of mechanical systems during his tenure with his previous employers. Robert has used his engineering and management skills in many successful projects, from complex steam and chilled water system design to design/build engineering for large and small commercial, institutional and industrial projects.
